Ever wondered why people join our organization and do what we do?

Our Ladies Auxiliary members have a purpose and a strong belief, it allows us to tap into our potential and ability to motivate us to work harder, make sacrifices, and go that extra mile.

Our Ladies Auxiliary members want to do something meaningful, to help others, to be involved; we know in our hearts that we owe a tremendous amount to our veterans.

We know the good the Ladies Auxiliary VFW does. Our challenge is to convey this message to other who wants to do well, to honor our veterans, and tap into Americans' sense of duty.

Who wouldn’t want to be part of a group that fights for the basic veterans/families benefits?

Who wouldn’t want to be part of group that brings a little ray of sunshine to a soldier with a Christmas message or gift?

Donate a few dollars for Cancer research?

We have a passion for duty, honor, and service. There are millions of Americans waiting for us to touch them; to show how they too can be involved; to become a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW.

Use your passion, use your motivation, and go the extra mile, we need new and reinstated members.

“Operation Changing Lives”
First thing, I want to give you an update on the 2013-14 President’s Project—Camps for Kids and Cancer Research for Childhood Cancers.  Thanks to all of you for your donations, and for selling and buying chances on the 42” Flat screen television.  For those who have asked, Willie Mae in District 2 won the television.  Your donations were greatly appreciated.  We raised right at $9850.00.  PDP Donna and I presented the checks to Camp Aldersgate and Children’s Hospital on September 20th and to the Camp Corral Representative in Conway on September 22nd.  The Children’s Hospital gave us a royal welcome with pictures and a tour of the hospital.  The staff at Camp Aldersgate was so pleased to receive our donation and informed us that since our donation was a first time donation that another donor would be matching it.  Camp Corral Representative took pictures to put in the newspaper.  PDP Donna mailed the check to the VFW National Home for Children.  Again, I cannot thank you enough for all your hard work.  Well done, Sisters.

Let’s keep the clock ticking and work for Patty to raise $10,000 for her Project...Operation Changing Lives.  Money is raised for The Veterans and their families in need.  With the help of our Veteran Service Officer finding the right agency, filling out forms and help gathering necessary papers, the waiting time is decreased. The National Veterans Services is one of those agencies.  “It’s Time to Honor Our Veterans”.  Throw open those doors, gather those ideas.  It’s time to FUNRAISE. IMPORTANT....Remember to mark your checks for the President’s Project and send check to our Treasurer Linda Evans.  She will forward them to the National Office so that you will receive credit for your donation.
